I'm glad the Trout Lily posts were helpful.

Second, I want to say that I browsed around your blog a bit and it very interesting. Lot of baring of one's soul here. Excellent writing.

Third, as someone who lived in Georgia for several years and vacations in Maine almost every year, you've got the better end of the deal! I'll honk the horn as i drive by on 295 in early June on our way up to Bar Harbor. Gonna do some hiking and lots of wildflower and bird photography up there. Hope to do a few walks as part of the Acadia Birding Festival as well.

Take care.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1119844997664774587.post-43329323302512303112009-05-02T08:29:00.000-04:002009-05-02T08:29:00.000-04:00You have a beautiful family Robin! I know what you mean about the sudden quiet pond. It's hard to believe when you are going through the hassles of raising them, that too soon you are wishing you could have all of that craziness back. Well, that's possible when you become a grandparent even if it's only for a half day now and again. Thank the heavens, as with age it really is draining. I so admire grandparents raising their grandchildren- although I have no idea where they get the stamina to do that!!!! I love toads too! Love the sound of them in early spring- it makes me know the long cold winter has come to an end. Another wonderful piece of writing Robin- keep it up! - Ms. BooAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1119844997664774587.post-49287315974115424662009-05-01T10:03:00.000-04:002009-05-01T10:03:00.000-04:00Great post!Great post!Nannoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1119844997664774587.post-52476795930572578332009-04-30T21:29:00.000-04:002009-04-30T21:29:00.000-04:00Nice piece, Robin.Nice piece, Robin.Ted Marksnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1119844997664774587.post-80979202492951287672009-04-30T20:36:00.000-04:002009-04-30T20:36:00.000-04:00Very sweet! Somewhere in there I thought I was gonna read about Susan Boyle, but you got her story beat by a mile. You're the only person I know who could find toads by the barrelful -- and then point out how we should love them. And probably not a prince in the whole lot.
Congrats.
