Mama-Bug, thank you. That outcropping remains interesting all year round. When the surf is wild, it oomes right through the center crack like an alligator's mouth.
Beautiful shot Robin, the white yacht looks like it's been painted into the scene. Btw I loved your 'Hurricane Hype' post, made me laugh out loud in some parts..weather versus Toddlers in Tiaras, thankfully all was well in the end.
Nice Robin, very nice. We are so fortunate to live in such a lovely state. Artists and photographers come from far and wide to try to capture the beauty, we are so lucky to be able to see it every day. I gotta know, what's the story on the frog?
Perth, Thanks for the read and comments. I love it that someone from so far away finds relevance in what I write about. Now there's an oxymoron: Toddlers And Tiaras and relevance! I'm glad I made you laugh. If I can make a person laugh, I've brought them with me, which is all a writer can ask for. The sail boat wasn't pasted in after the fact, either. That's part of the reason that I took the picture was because of how the humidity in the air on the horizon made it look as if it was floating above the water.
Annie O, you may have recognized the sailing scene. I took the shot from our pier. Now, regarding the frog: It is a wall sculpture at a property where I Weed For Dollars. I loved it. The sculpture hangs vertically. I turned it sideways and to black and white. I love how the frog looks like it has just had satasfying sex or something. I call it "Froggy Seduction." Was that TMI? You asked!
Looks like a great place to relax and enjoy a weekend. Have fun.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Bill. It is a great place, though we don't do nearly enough relaxing in the summer.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, scenic place! Those rock cliffs have so many vivid colors.

Andrea, thank you very much. It is ideal for relaxing, but I don't take the time to do that often enough.
