I especially love photographing the interiors and the keepers' oil houses. Those are the little outbuildings ALWAYS kept away from the lighthouse. I would think so!
Lovely to see this just now. For days I've been thinking of lighthouses ... of people ... a person ... whose words ... whose voice ... whose ability to help me see ... are ... for me ... the beam of light ... I've so long missed ... to see the sea ... perhaps ... to find ... the shore ...
Lighthouses are one of my favorite things Robin, love the composition in this shot. The layered clouds and dry grasses in the foreground make for a very appealing image.
Very thoughtful, Perth. I should spend some time thinking about what makes lighthouses so appealing to people. Everyone seems to love them, myself included. I wonder if people who have never seen the sea feel that way.
