FLYday - Barn Swallows



Barn swallows in flight and feeding fledglings while on the wing.

FLYday is an homage to what our feathered friends so best, fly.

  1. Well I saw the 1st picture when you posted on FB and it was touching but I just checked here and saw the 2nd photo and OMG seeing that full on view is absolutely amazing Robin. I mean the coolest!! You are so good at this I'm in awe. The best to you. AnnieO

  9. Chris, thanks. It did take a lot of time in the saddle waiting. And the one on the bottom was somewhat lucky as the bird didn't know I was there anymore and flew right at me!

  26. The first shot is such a parent picture. The wonders of the modern camera allows the second picture to make the swallow almost within arm's reach!
